Dr. Elizabeth McCord, MD

Dr. Elizabeth McCord is a physician dually trained in Internal Medicine and Psychiatry at Emory University, where she also completed a fellowship in Addiction Psychiatry. She serves on Emory’s faculty and leads the Emory Addiction Consult Service, providing expert care for patients with complex substance use and mental health conditions in both hospital and outpatient settings. Dr. McCord also works on the Grady Med-Psych Unit and mentors clinicians nationwide through the UC Irvine Train New Trainers Program. Her clinical, academic, and addiction-medicine expertise informs evidence-based discussions on marijuana policy and public health.
